Designed as an extension of the family’s home and lifestyle, this custom pool and luxury pool house in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, creates an inviting backyard retreat for both everyday family time and entertaining. The thoughtfully designed outdoor space gives the family with kids a place to swim, relax, play, and gather with friends, while the pool house provides a comfortable destination for everything from casual summer afternoons to larger gatherings.

Classic architectural details and warm, welcoming finishes give the pool house the character of a true extension of the home rather than a separate outdoor structure. Carefully planned indoor and outdoor spaces work together to create a seamless entertaining environment, with the pool serving as the centerpiece of a backyard designed for connection, relaxation, and making memories. The pool house was designed by Brad Douglas Design with interiors by Kathryn Chaplow Interior Design.
